What this service involves
Direct private prescribing for adults with a confirmed ADHD diagnosis, covering initiation, titration, physical health monitoring and ongoing review. This service is not yet open. Private prescribing delivered directly by Somapath requires registration with the Care Quality Commission and that application is in progress. Until it is granted, prescribing work is delivered as a subcontracted prescriber within other registered organisations rather than directly to private patients. All services are delivered by a UK registered nurse and independent prescriber holding current NMC registration, enhanced DBS and professional indemnity. Educational and advisory services do not include diagnosis. Services involving direct prescribing to private patients are subject to Care Quality Commission registration and are marked accordingly.
