Clinical case review and second opinion for services
Independent review of complex or contested ADHD cases for organisations wanting another prescriber's view on the record.
What this service involves
Independent review of the cases your team finds difficult. This includes patients who have not responded to standard titration, presentations with significant comorbidity, cardiovascular or substance use complexity, contested diagnoses, and situations where a GP practice has refused shared care and your service needs a defensible clinical position. We review the record, set out the clinical reasoning in full, and provide a written opinion you can hold on file. We do not take over care. Clinical responsibility remains with your service. This is advisory work.
Who this is for
ADHD services, private clinics, Right to Choose providers, and organisations responding to a complaint or an internal clinical query.
What you receive
A written clinical opinion referenced against current national guidance, delivered within an agreed timeframe, with an optional follow up discussion.
Format and duration
Per case. Written report plus optional thirty minute discussion. Remote.
Booking for this service opens shortly. Enquiries welcome.
All services are delivered by a UK registered nurse and independent prescriber holding current NMC registration, enhanced DBS and professional indemnity. Educational and advisory services do not include diagnosis. Services involving direct prescribing to private patients are subject to Care Quality Commission registration and are marked accordingly.
