Prescriber capacity and recruitment advisory
Guidance for services struggling to recruit or retain non medical prescribers, including how to structure the role safely.
What this service involves
Many services can recruit assessors but cannot find prescribers, and those they do find often leave within a year. We advise on how the prescriber role is structured, realistic caseload expectations, what supervision and support a prescriber needs in order to stay, how to onboard someone into ADHD prescribing who has not done it before, and where liability sits between the organisation and the individual clinician. This is operational and governance advice rather than recruitment agency work. We do not place candidates and we do not charge placement fees.
Who this is for
Service leads, clinical directors and operations managers in ADHD and neurodiversity services with prescriber capacity problems.
What you receive
A structured discussion, a written summary of recommendations covering role design, caseload, supervision and onboarding, and template job description wording if useful.
Format and duration
Sixty minutes plus written summary. Remote.
Booking for this service opens shortly. Enquiries welcome.
All services are delivered by a UK registered nurse and independent prescriber holding current NMC registration, enhanced DBS and professional indemnity. Educational and advisory services do not include diagnosis. Services involving direct prescribing to private patients are subject to Care Quality Commission registration and are marked accordingly.
