What this service involves

Right to Choose is a legal right in England, but using it well requires knowledge most people do not have. In this session we explain how the pathway works, what your GP is and is not obliged to do, which providers currently have realistic waiting times, how the referral letter should be worded, and what happens once a referral is accepted. We also cover what to expect at assessment, how titration usually runs, and what shared care will mean for you afterwards. This session is navigation and education. We are not acting as your treating clinicians in this session, and it does not include assessment or diagnosis.

Who this is for

Adults in England considering an ADHD or autism assessment, parents navigating the pathway for a child, and anyone whose GP has been unclear or unhelpful about the process.

What you receive

A live session with time for your specific questions, a written summary of the steps that apply to your situation, suggested wording to take to your GP, and links to current provider information.

Format and duration

Forty five minutes. Remote. One to one.
