Sleep and sensory needs consultation
Focused help with sleep, sensory overload and the daily difficulties that cause the most disruption at home.
What this service involves
Sleep and sensory difficulties often cause more day to day damage than the diagnosis itself, and they are routinely under addressed. This session looks closely at sleep onset, night waking, early waking, bedtime resistance, and the sensory triggers that make regulation harder. We build a practical plan using approaches consistent with current national guidance, and we identify the specific points at which you should return to your GP, including when a sleep problem may have a medical cause that needs investigating rather than managing.
Who this is for
Adults, and parents of children, whether or not a formal diagnosis is in place.
What you receive
A live session, a written plan you can realistically follow, a sleep and sensory tracking template, and clear criteria for when to seek further medical review.
Format and duration
Forty five minutes. Remote.
Booking for this service opens shortly. Enquiries welcome.
All services are delivered by a UK registered nurse and independent prescriber holding current NMC registration, enhanced DBS and professional indemnity. Educational and advisory services do not include diagnosis. Services involving direct prescribing to private patients are subject to Care Quality Commission registration and are marked accordingly.
