What this service involves

A professionally written letter explaining functional difficulties and reasonable adjustments in language that schools, universities, employers and occupational health teams take seriously. It is drafted after a discussion with you so that it reflects your actual situation rather than generic wording. Please note carefully what this is not. It is not a diagnostic report and it cannot state a diagnosis unless you already hold one from an assessing clinician, in which case the letter can reference and build on it. Where no diagnosis exists, the letter describes needs and adjustments, which is frequently sufficient for an employer or education provider to act.

Who this is for

Employees requesting workplace adjustments, students applying for exam access arrangements or disabled students allowance support, and parents requesting support at school.

What you receive

A drafted letter on Somapath letterhead, one round of amendments included, and a short call to confirm accuracy before it is finalised.

Format and duration

Thirty minute discussion, letter delivered within five working days.
